Job summary

Foley Industries – Foley Equipment in Kansas seeks a Parts Distribution specialist to pick, pack, deliver, and ship parts, with inventory counts and hose assembly tasks.

You will greet customers, pull and prepare orders for shipment, load vehicles by hand or forklift, and travel for training or to assist other locations. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is required.
• General computer knowledge is required.
• Customer relation experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive for business purposes.

The Parts Distribution role picks, packs, delivers and ships parts for customers. In this job, you will also complete inventory counts, build hoses, load and unload trucks as needed throughout the day.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Greet and assist internal and external customers


• Complete orders by pulling parts, preparing them for shipment and ensuring timely delivery to the correct place


• Load orders into vehicles by hand, forklift and hand trucks


• Process inbound and outbound parts orders


• Audit and inventory parts


• Disassemble and assemble all types of hydraulic hoses


• Participate in weekend work schedules as needed


• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Physical & Working Requirements

• Occasional lifting of heavier items up to 75 pounds


• Regularlifting and carrying of parts weighing up to 50pounds


• Standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional sitting


• Frequent bending, crouching, and reaching at various heights, including overhead


• Pushing and pulling materials or equipment with moderate to heavy force


• Climbing stairs, ladders, or equipment to access inventory


• Frequent use of hands for gripping, handling, and fine motor coordination when working with parts and tools


• Maintaining full range of motion, including neck and trunk movement and rotation


• Performing tasks requiring coordination of hands, feet, and visual focus


• Operating warehouse tools and equipment safely (e.g., carts, lifts, or other department tools)


• Visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment


• Communicating effectively to support team coordination and customer needs


• Driving or traveling for business purposes, depending on location and role responsibilities
