Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Holds Staff and Crew meetings as outlined by the company.
• Holds or attends all Sales meetings, Attends all Service or Body Shop Crew meetings.
• Directs Outside and Counter sales efforts.
• Develops promotions utilizing feedback from the sales team.
• Establishes pricing parameters to generate sufficient gross profit while maintaining loyalty.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
• Monitors and manages inventory health and turns; manage obsolescence and overstock.
• Evaluates inventory turns and maximizes ROI by product line.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs for parts handling and safety regulations.
• Handles customer complaints and enforces safety rules.
