O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to efficiently transport parts and products to customers in the OH region. You will operate company vehicles, perform daily inspections, and use handheld devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete the driver return slip.
• Communicate any problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of each day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform other assigned duties such as customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
