Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. You will also handle returns and support store operations while maintaining vehicle readiness and safety.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to adapt to changing deliveries, and a valid driver’s license. Spanish language skills are highly desired and you will work closely with store management to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily inspections before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked at close of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers as needed and support merchandising tasks.
