O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers safely and efficiently. You will also collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Responsibilities include processing deliveries with handheld devices, maintaining and securing vehicles and equipment, and supporting store operations as needed. Fluency in Spanish is a plus and the role may involve cashier duties when business dictates.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using fleet management hand-held devices and capture customer signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained and inspected before use.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and cash at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at day end.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers as needed and perform cashier/merchandising tasks when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
