Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Parts Driver in Evansville, IN for a part-time day shift. The role involves delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership, with duties spanning logging deliveries, obtaining signatures, and maintaining vehicle and appearance of the parts department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license; satisfactory MVR.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple reports and effectively communicate with customers, employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, coordinated with the Parts Manager and others before leaving.
• Complete a log at time of delivery and request recipient’s signature.
• Unload truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Maintain the parts delivery vehicle; ensure it is clean and operating properly.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
