Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will also process COD deliveries, collect payments, and handle customer returns while maintaining vehicle readiness.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to adapt to evolving delivery scenarios, and a valid state driver’s license. Occasional cashier or merchandising support may be needed based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate customer issues to store management and report vehicle needs immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy; assist with cash register and merchandising when needed.
• Other duties including stocking, customer service, and errands.
