Parts Delivery Specialist - Allentown, PA

JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in the daily operations of TransEdge Truck Centers by ensuring the timelyand professional delivery of parts to our valued customers. This position requires a candidate who exemplifies reliabilityand professionalism, is self-driven, and excels at fostering strong customer relationships through prompt and courteousservice.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Function and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Uphold a pristine driving record.
• Accurately select and securely load parts onto the delivery vehicle.
• Collaborate with the shipping and receiving department to facilitate the check-in and storage of parts.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor parts storage areas, including the loadingdock.
• Manage waste disposal tasks, including emptying the baler and trash receptacles.
• Dismantle pallets as needed.
• Provide efficient parts running services for counter staff and the workshop.
• Conduct routine maintenance and care for the delivery vehicle.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Capable of lifting or carrying items weighing over 50 pounds to a height of 44 inches.
• Must be able to reach, climb, twist, crouch, kneel, or stoop to retrieve parts from various storage locations.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma required.
• Parts and/or driving related experience a plus.
• Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and can interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers ina positive and constructive manner.
• Display ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Product and market knowledge a plus.
