Job summary

The Parts Driver role at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach, part of MileOne Autogroup, involves transporting automotive parts using a company vehicle and complying with traffic laws. You will interact with internal and external customers to maintain high levels of service.

Responsibilities include picking up and delivering parts to customers and vendors, verifying invoices, and keeping logs. A valid license and reliable attendance are required; a willingness to support service drop-offs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Self-starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD's.
• Advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
• Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars.
