Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will work to ensure safe, efficient deliveries while supporting store operations.

The role includes using hand-held devices, processing deliveries, capturing signatures, keeping vehicles and equipment secure, and assist with cashiering or merchandising as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using hand-held devices, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained and complete daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
