O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Lowell, MA. You will operate company vehicles to deliver parts to professional customers, process deliveries with handheld devices, and maintain vehicle readiness and security.

Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include handling COD deliveries, collecting payments, and supporting store operations such as merchandising and customer service as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers as needed and support merchandising tasks when business dictates.
