Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include COD collections, processing returns, using handheld devices to capture signatures and mileage, performing daily vehicle inspections, and keeping vehicles and keys secure. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired; the role may involve assisting customers, cashiering, merchandising, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and conduct daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and money at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of the day.
• Clock in/out per policy; assist customers with cashiering and merchandising as needed.
