Job Details

Currently hiring a Local Delivery Driver (Class C) for a company in the HUMBLE (77396) area that distributes Diesel parts to Houston. When not delivering, you will work as a warehouse helper (50/50).

Shift: M-F 8 am to 5 pm

Pay: $16/hr

Responsibilities

• Take orders for delivery of items from one location to another.
• Assist in pulling orders, loading the truck, and ensuring safe stacking.
• Plan routes using maps and GPS.
• Drive the truck on approved routes, considering time constraints.
• Adjust routes due to roadblocks or weather conditions.
• Verify recipient identification before delivery.
• Unload and place items at recipient locations.
• Obtain signatures and process payments.
• Maintain communication with the base regarding deliveries.
• Report on deliveries and drive back to the base.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Report incidents or accidents promptly.
• Ensure the truck is properly parked when not in use.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Valid Driver's License (Class C).
• Clean driving record.

Experience

• Delivery driver: 2 years (Required).
• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred).
• Route driving: 2 years (Required).

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Required).
