Job summary

Boyd Company in Louisville, KY is seeking a delivery driver to transport parts to customers within our territory. A valid driver’s license is required and you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and safely delivering Caterpillar and other equipment parts.

You will maintain the truck in safe, clean condition, complete daily logs and paperwork promptly, and use material handling equipment as needed. We value a professional image, reliability, and the ability to work various shifts while

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload parts and crates.
• Willing to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Loads, delivers and unloads Caterpillar or other equipment parts as needed.
• Maintains truck in safe and clean condition.
• Completes required daily logs, paperwork and records promptly, accurately and legibly.
• Operates material handling equipment to load/unload equipment and components.
• Recommend to manager ideas to improve the department's operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes.
• Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code.
• Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly.
• Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.

Job description

Compensation: up to $18.50 per hour.
