Job summary

Billion Automotive is seeking a reliable Parts Delivery Driver in Sioux Falls, SD to perform daily pickups and deliveries to customers, satellite stores, and vendors. The role requires maintaining logs, verifying invoices, and coordinating with body shop and parts staff to ensure timely deliveries.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and compensation at $15/hour with overtime time-and-a-half for hours over 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds throughout shift.
• No CDL required – must be able to obtain medical DOT card.

Responsibilities

• Pick up/deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Check with body shop, parts manager, parts counter people daily for last minute deliveries.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick up.
• Check with customers to ensure that delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering.
• Confirm payments received with invoices for each delivery.
• Keep log of daily deliveries and pick-ups; turn in completed call reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Unload truck and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help stock/post orders when they arrive to expedite delivery.
• Prospect for new customers.
• Review any special orders with the parts manager and obtain approval.
• Obtain parts manager's approval for any special pricing.
• Follow up on parts orders to ensure customers have been served properly.
• Coordinate service sales with service salespeople.
• Update customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, every 6th Saturday on a rotation with the other drivers.

$15/hour - Any Hours over 40 hours per week paid at time and a half

QUALIFICATIONS

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

• Pick up/deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
• Check with body shop, parts manager, parts counter people daily for last minute deliveries
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick up
• Checks with customers to ensure that delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering.
• Confirms payments received with invoices for each delivery
• Keeps log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Turns in completed call reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Unloads truck and turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts
• Handles basic maintenance of truck including filling gas, checking oil, keeping clean, and ensuring required inspections performed
• Helps stock/post orders when they arrive to expedite delivery
• Prospects for new customers.
• Reviews any special orders with the parts manager and obtains his/her approval.
• Obtains parts manager's approval for any special pricing.
• Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
• Coordinates service sales with service salespeople.
• Update customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses etc.
• Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned.
