Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Wholesale Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership, ensuring the delivery truck remains clean and operable. You will load and secure parts, organize delivery routes, and maintain logs while keeping customers informed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver & pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck to prevent damage to sheet metal and fragile parts.
• Organize deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule for contact.
• Keep truck clean and in good running condition.
• Report malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately.
• Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
• Make pickups and deliveries safely and call the shipping department from each stop.
• Update delivery log after each delivery.
• Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
