Gordon Truck Centers is now accepting applications for a Parts Delivery Driver at the Freightliner Northwest location in Spokane, WA

Responsibilities
  • Deliver parts to customers from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
  • Adher to company safe driving policies at all times.
  • Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
  • Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
  • Strengthen customer relationships with prompt and professional service.
  • Provide communication to parts department on customer needs and returns.
  • Help in the warehouse as time allows, operate a fork-lift on occasion.
  • Basic knowledge of computers to input data into parts systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Other: Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable and a clean driving record.

Skills that are representative of the job: Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups and a 24’ box truck. Experience driving a manual transmission, ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Job Conditions

Physical Demands:(These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.

Environmental Demands: Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.Use of company-provided personal protective equipment may be required.

Dash Camera: For insurability and safety purposes, GTC uses front and rear facing dash cameras in all company vehicles.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM-5:30PM, should be flexible to schedule adjustments as needed.

Compensation: $18-20 per hour based upon experience.
