Job summary

Hunter Truck Sales & Service LLC in Lancaster, PA is hiring a full-time Parts Delivery Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). You will coordinate deliveries, verify invoices, log deliveries, unload trucks, and keep parts moving to customers and branch locations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to drive across county and state lines. We value safety, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required, must meet insurability standards.
• Able to read instructions, write routine reports, and communicate with customers and team.
• Regularly stand and walk; lift up to 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs occasionally; drive across county/state lines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager and teams.
• Verify invoices match parts and check payments before deliveries.
• Maintain logs of deliveries and obtain signatures.
• Unload trucks nightly and submit paperwork.
• Perform basic truck maintenance and inspections.
• Complete weekly vehicle checklists and follow safety policies.
• Ensure vehicle carries required safety items and documents.
• Report major repairs to Parts Manager.
• Support appearance of the parts department and vehicle.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

POSITION AT A GLANCE

Location: Lancaster, PA Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00PM Address: 1463 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager, inventory control, parts counter, and shipping/receiving teams.
• Verify invoices match parts and check payments before leaving for deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures for each delivery.
• Unload trucks each night and turn in all paperwork, cores, and undelivered parts.
• Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking oil, keeping the truck clean, and ensuring inspections are up to date.
• Complete weekly vehicle checklists and consult the branch safety council on any concerns.
• Ensure vehicle is equipped with all required safety and operational items (fire extinguisher, safety triangles, first aid kit, GPS, EZ Pass, insurance, registration, fuel card).
• Report major truck repairs and maintenance needs to the Parts Manager.
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and your work vehicle.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, reinforcing a safe working environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months of related experience (or equivalent combination).
• Driving & Safety: Valid driver’s license required, must meet company insurability standards, and be able to drive across county and state lines.
• Communication Skills: Able to read instructions and manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
