Central Power Systems & Services seeks a Parts Delivery Driver to support our Parts department in Liberty, MO. You will handle shipping, receiving, parts ordering, and deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High school diploma or equivalent, CDL Class B with a clean record, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Tech education in automotive or diesel is a plus; training opportunities are available.

Position Title: Parts Delivery Driver

Reporting to: Parts Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Delivery Driver reports to the Parts Manager and is charged with the responsibility of selling parts. This job function is responsible for assisting in the determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• SHIPPING/RECEIVING
• Order Picking, Packing and Shipping
• Delivering trucks to customers
• Picks up, delivers, or routes items and correspondence to the appropriate personnel in any of the Central Power facilities
• Physical Inventory Counts
• Stock Order Receiving
• CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
• Support internal customers (employees' and service department) by providing effective verbal and written communication when needed
• Help with answering phones for parts department and returning calls to customers
• PARTS
• Service department - shop and field - parts sales, order processing
• Warehousing functions - picking, packing and shipping
• Delivery and pickup of parts to service mechanics and customers
• Customer parts sales

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical education in Automotive, Diesel or related field preferred
• Experience working in a diesel shop and/or parts store a plus
• Prior sales experience preferred
• Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
