Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Seattle, WA to maintain and operate store vehicles, delivering parts to professional customers and collecting payments for COD deliveries. The role includes vehicle inspections, securing monies, and assisting with returns and merchandising as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected daily.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy; perform other duties including stocking and merchandising.
• May assist customers as cashier or help with merchandising when needed.
