Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Monmouth, OR is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to customers in a safe, efficient manner. You will process COD deliveries, collect payments, and handle returns, while keeping vehicles and equipment secure.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, using handheld devices to document deliveries, and assisting with merchandising or cashier tasks as needed. Prioritize safety and reliability on every shift.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication abilities are required.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Must be able to read and match alphanumeric sequences accurately.
• Drive safely with a valid driver's license and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money collected.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips, assist as cashier or merchandiser when needed.
• Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions to store management.
• Clock in/out per policy and assist with stocking and general store duties.
