Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Harlingen, TX location. You will oversee daily store operations and help ensure fast, accurate order processing and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, assembling orders for a 45-minute delivery window, managing inventory, and supervising cash handling, with a focus on safety and cleanliness in both store and warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Strong commitment to delivering superb customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45-minute window.
• Inventory and cycle counts.
• Schedule contract drivers based on company needs.
• Answer customer questions and address complaints.
• Store opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits.
• Stock and pull parts.
• Answer phones.
• Keep the store and front counter clean.
• Maintain a safe warehouse and work environment.
