Job summary

Fury Ford Waconia in Minnesota is seeking a dependable Parts Counterperson Advisor to assist technicians and customers with parts needs and to keep the parts department running smoothly.

You’ll identify correct parts using catalogs and dealership systems, provide pricing, process orders, and communicate order status. A background in automotive parts or dealership parts experience, strong customer service, and comfort with computers are ideal; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge or related automotive experience.
• Previous dealership or parts-counter experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic catalogs, and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale and retail customers with parts needs.
• Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
• Create and process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and expected delivery.
• Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Service Department to keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Keep the parts counter, shelves, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow dealership procedures for safety, security, and inventory control.
