Job summary

The TKO Group in Valdosta, GA is hiring an automotive parts sales associate to help customers find and purchase parts, upsell components, and ensure accurate invoicing at the counter. You will support technicians and coordinate with vendors while delivering friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities include locating, ordering and dispatching parts, maintaining inventory, and communicating status to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the parts sales process, identifying customer parts needs and invoicing accordingly
• Upsell parts and components to consumers appropriately
• Identify, locate/ order and dispatch parts as needed by Technicians
• Works with parts manager to control and maintain parts inventory
• Communicates with vendors
• Communicates with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notifies them upon delivery to the dealership
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must be able to independently maneuver parts up to 40 lbs
• Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
