Sam Leman Ford in Peoria, IL is seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson to support technicians and customers with parts needs. The role requires lookup and identification of correct parts, processing orders, returns, and coordinating with the Parts Manager to locate out-of-stock items.

• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, internal departments, and retail customers with automotive parts needs.
• Look up, identify, and locate the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Process parts orders, sales, returns, and special requests accurately.
• Work closely with the Parts Manager to locate and order parts that are not in stock.
• Monitor special orders and communicate updates on parts availability and delivery.
• Maintain an organized and efficient parts department.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Collaborate with service technicians and other dealership departments to ensure timely repairs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
