Job summary

Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Manchester Road is hiring a Parts Counterperson to join our high-volume parts department. This role offers daily interaction with retail and wholesale customers and requires accurate parts lookup and friendly service.

You will support technicians, communicate with service writers, and handle inquiries, returns, and inventory control. The position is full-time with rotating 4-day weeks and a noon lunch, at 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior automotive dealership parts department experience (Chrysler/FCA experience highly preferred).
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Rotating 4-day workweeks (10-hour shifts)
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., including an hour lunch break
• Saturdays: Some Saturday shifts required
• Union Position: Local Union #618

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter
• Support technicians by locating and dispatching requested parts
• Communicate clearly with service writers, managers, and technicians
• Answer customer inquiries via phone and in-person
• Accurately bill outsold parts and handle returns
• Help manage incoming inventory and support inventory accuracy
