Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a Parts Counter Representative at our Pembroke Pines location to assist customers in person or by phone, process orders, and coordinate parts for service. The role supports the service department and maintains accurate records.

The ideal candidate has an AA degree or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to read manuals and maintenance instructions. Equal opportunity employer; residency in Florida preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college/technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.

Responsibilities

• Complete purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Utilize industry data – including manuals and electronic data – to determine specific parts needed by customers, as well as diagnostic assistance to customers.
• Contact vendors to order parts.
• Review invoices to ensure parts received accurately reflect parts ordered on original requisition forms.
• Store parts in designated area and issue parts to service department/customers as needed.
• Maintain records of parts received and distributed; inventory parts in warehouse periodically.
