ASCO Equipment has a part-time opportunity for a Parts Counter Specialist in Sherman, TX. The specialist will assist customers and in-house technicians with parts needs, coordinate ordering and tracking, manage inventory, and provide superior customer service both over the phone and walk-in.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service with friendly greetings and eagerness to assist
  • Ask questions to identify machine make/model/serial numbers accurately
  • Investigate part needs and recommend additional parts
  • Fulfill in-stock parts orders and place new orders promptly
  • Match orders with packing slips accurately
  • Manage customer payments and follow up on past due accounts
  • Use resources like online manuals and microfiche to identify parts
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
Basic Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years as a parts specialist
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Attention to detail, good time management, teamwork skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers, G-Suite, and parts software
  • Commitment to safety and accountability
