Job summary

Wilson's Auto Parts in Albany, Oregon is seeking a PARTS PRO Associate to provide exceptional customer service and help customers find the right automotive parts. You will share product knowledge, assist with sales, maintain a clean store, and support inventory functions.

Ideal candidates have customer service skills, comfort with a fast-paced environment, basic computer and POS proficiency, and a willingness to pursue ASE certification if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or retail sales & ASE strongly preferred OR willing to get certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in point-of-sale systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work on feet (stand and walk) for entire assigned work shift.


• Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds.


• Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and able to reach upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.


• Able to turn brake drums and rotors, and repair/make up hydraulic hose assemblies (if appropriate).


• Able to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment with moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
