Job summary

Quality Equipment is seeking a Parts Counter Sales associate for our Roxboro store. You will promote and sell parts, assist service technicians, and help maintain showroom displays to meet customer needs.

The role requires a high school diploma and basic data entry, parts knowledge, and experience with John Deere parts software. Expect extended hours and weekends; forklift use is a plus and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills required.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Ability to use John Deere Parts related computer application.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts, as required.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining showroom merchandise displays.
• Verifies receipting in of parts shipments and assists with placing orders.
• Assists in pulling and shipping parts and product transfers between branches.
• Assists in keeping parts department, showroom and parts warehouse clean and orderly.
• Reports and follows up on parts shortages with the Parts Manager.
• Maintains all departmental tools and equipment.
• Provides afterhours parts phone service, when necessary.
• Other duties as required for overall location functionality.
