We are seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their vehicles, providing exceptional service both in person and over the phone. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to help people, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their vehicles.
Fill customer orders from stock and prepare sales slips or contracts.
Advise customers on part substitutions or modifications when replacements are unavailable.
Inspect returned parts, determine if defective, and provide exchanges or refunds as needed.
Organize and store parts in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.
Handle and fulfill internet orders for parts.
Take regular inventory and complete related reports or logs.
Provide excellent customer service, answer inquiries, and maintain professionalism in every interaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience with automotive parts and accessories is preferred, preferably with Acura.
Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
Highly dependable, safety-conscious, and customer service-oriented.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
