Responsibilities

• Greet customers and mechanics, assess their parts needs, and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Identify, locate, and pull parts from inventory to fulfill orders accurately.
• Use catalogs or computer systems to determine correct part numbers and pricing.
• Advise customers on suitable substitutions or modifications when exact replacements are unavailable.
• Receive and process orders, prepare invoices, and handle payments or credit authorizations.
• Maintain accurate records of parts sales, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock management.
• Examine returned parts for defects and process exchanges or refunds.
• Assist in merchandising displays and keep the counter and sales area clean and organized.
• Demonstrate product features to support sales.
• Collaborate with mechanics and service departments to facilitate repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and dealership policies.
