Job summary

Voss Chevrolet is seeking a Parts Counterperson to be the primary link between the parts and service departments, assisting technicians and customers with parts and accessories.

You will interact daily with suppliers, manage parts availability, and utilize EPC and inventory systems. The role includes daily cashing out and maintaining repair order records. Training is provided to stay current on GM parts and technology.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience preferred; training available.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory/parts management systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal contact between parts and service departments for parts and accessories sales.
• Interact with customers over the counter, by phone, and via service.
• Collaborate with suppliers and team to ensure parts and tools availability.
• Use EPC and inventory systems; manage daily cashing out and order records.
• Maintain orderly records for repair orders, insurance estimates, and special orders.

Voss Chevrolet is looking for a Parts Counterperson to join our team! We're looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual who can provide excellent service to our technicians, service advisors, and retail customers.

This is a full-time position that offers the following benefits:

Training to ensure you stay up to date on GM parts and technology.

As a parts counter person you will be the principle contact between the parts department and the service department for the sale of parts and accessories. You have direct customer contact for sales over the counter, through service and on the phone.

You will work daily with suppliers and your team to ensure that we have the parts and tools we need for the day, week and month. You will use your strong computer skills in the use of the EPC and inventory systems.

You will do daily cashing out for customers, following up on any outstanding issues or parts and ensuring all records for repair orders, insurance estimates and special orders are keep in an orderly manner.

Voss Chevrolet will provide you with all the training you need for the job. We consistently do training for our employees to ensure that they stay current on all on in- house and manufacturers standards.

What We're Looking For
