Job summary

Karl Malone PowerSports Provo is seeking a Parts Department Assistant to support customers and staff in identifying, pricing, and locating standard-issued and custom parts. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and responsive service to keep repairs moving smoothly.

You will collaborate with the Parts Manager, handle part requests, and communicate status to customers and colleagues while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both in-person and over the phone.
• Enthusiastic personality with a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales of parts from start to finish.
• Work with the Parts Manager to locate any parts, not in stock.
• Aid in locating and completing special order part requests for the customer.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand and maintain all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry.
