Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer service by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching parts for repair orders. You will verify parts quality and accuracy, manage MIS data entry, and keep detailed records to support the shop’s production schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in automotive parts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years of experience with automotive parts preferred.
• I-CAR registration or progress toward Gold Class is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, store, and dispatch parts per repair orders.
• Verify accuracy and quality of parts received timely.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Label and track parts by RO number and communicate price changes.
• Work with vendors to ensure parts availability and quality.
• Maintain accurate records and support a fast-paced shop.

You control your future.Job Description:The Parts Coordinator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while proactively managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. The Parts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by verifying the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner as per the production schedule and vehicle needs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders confirming the quality, correctness and quantity of parts received, accurately identifying parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop.Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.Enter all parts invoices into the recommended Management Information System (MIS).Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs; Communicate all Parts Price Changes (also known as Parts Price Increases - PPI) to all required team members.Order and receive supplemental Parts in the MIS, monitor performance of parts, materials and sublet vendors.
