Job summary

Sudden Service, INC in Miami, FL is seeking a Warehouse Clerk / Parts Runner. The role supports the Parts Supervisor & Service Center Manager with clerical duties, inventory upkeep, and local/shipments of parts. You will deliver parts to customers and assist with packaging and dispatching orders.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and warehouse experience. Forklift operation is part of the duties, with EPA waste handling as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic carpentry skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Checks all parts against packing list, identifying receiving problems or freight damage.
• Ensures identification part numbers are on each part before putting them into inventory.
• Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and keeps areas clean and organized.
• Pulls parts from inventory for sales representatives and field service mechanics.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales orders or shipping lists; prepares parts for shipment and dispatches by best method.
• Picks up or delivers parts to customers when required.
• Receives and checks stock orders, repackages, and numbers parts shipped in bulk packaging.
• Prepares engine, transmission, and cylinder cores to be returned to Sudden Service Distribution Operations Center.
• Assists in proper storage and disposal of EPA controlled waste.
• Maintains neat personal appearance and keeps company vehicle clean and orderly.
• Operates forklifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
