Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Category Manager for our Source 1 business. You will support Source 1 in increasing revenue and improving margins, defining category strategy, mix of parts, and selecting suppliers while negotiating pricing.

You will collaborate across teams to achieve KPIs like revenue growth, cost reduction, and working capital optimization, operating in a global matrix and traveling ~25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain.
• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• Willingness to travel globally (approximately 25%).
• HVAC / Distribution experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the Source 1 parts supply chain.
• Strategic analysis of part categories and PN selections.
• Strategic supplier selection including distributors vs manufacturers.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to improve revenue, reduce costs, and optimize working capital.

Job Description

Summary

Bosch Home Comfort is looking for a Category Manager for our Source 1 business. The position will be responsible for supporting the Source 1 business in increasing revenue while improving margins. You will help define the strategy for which part categories are offered by Source 1, the specific mix of parts for each of those categories and selecting the suppliers / negotiating pricing for those offerings. Collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to accomplish these strategic objectives, key KPIs include revenue growth, cost reduction, and working capital optimization.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for optimizing the Source 1 parts supply chain
• Strategic analysis around which part categories to offer from Source 1 and which PN within those categories (York OEM, competitor offerings, and generics).
• Strategic supplier selection- including use of distributors vs going direct to the manufacturer and use of York OEM factories
• Develop-Monitor KPI’s to support business objectives, specifically focused on improving revenue, reducing costs, and reducing trade working capital.
• Influence team members from other functional groups, working in a matrixed environment ensuring the program outcomes align with the objectives of the business.
• Effectively track project deliverables to ensure they are delivered and up to standard. Identify and track issues to closure.
