Galpin Motors is seeking an experienced Parts Back Counter Associate to join our Ford Pro Elite Service Center in North Hills, CA, serving the Los Angeles area. You will assist technicians and service advisors with identifying and locating parts, look up parts using catalogs, and process sales transactions with a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years parts counter experience; heavy line truck experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional work ethic and high integrity.
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently.
• Strong problem solving and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and service advisors with identifying and locating parts needed for vehicle repairs.
• Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs, electronic parts systems, and VIN information.
• Accurately look up parts using catalogs, software systems, and VINs to ensure proper fit and application.
• Process sales transactions, including invoicing, payments, and returns, with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain organized and well-stocked inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking parts.
• Communicate effectively with service technicians and other departments to support workflow and minimize delays.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, cash handling, and inventory control.
