Position Overview:

The Parts Back Counter Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our service department operates with the precision and excellence that defines Miami’s luxury automotive scene. In this role, you will be the key liaison between the service team and the parts department, ensuring that all necessary parts are efficiently sourced and delivered to maintain our fleet of luxury vehicles. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to outstanding customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process parts orders from the service department, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Maintain organized and efficient parts storage, adhering to the dealership’s standards for inventory management.
  • Assist with the tracking and inventory of high-value and specialized parts, ensuring availability and minimizing downtime for vehicle service.
  • Provide exceptional service to our internal customers by responding promptly and professionally to parts inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the parts manager to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or supply chain issues.
  • Stay updated on new product offerings and maintain knowledge of current luxury automotive parts trends.
  • Support the overall flow of the dealership by assisting in other areas as needed, including receiving and stocking parts shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in automotive parts or inventory management, preferably within a luxury or high-end automotive dealership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in parts management software and comfortable using modern technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 lbs, regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the parts and service areas for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with bending, stooping, and reaching to access parts and inventory.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • The position is primarily based in a dealership environment, with exposure to both the service area and parts warehouse.
  • The work environment can vary from a climate-controlled office to a busy parts warehouse, which may involve exposure to dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures.
  • This role may require extended hours, including some evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of our luxury clientele and service schedules.
  • The Parts Back Counter Specialist will regularly interact with other dealership staff, including service technicians, managers, and sales teams, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
