Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a qualified Parts Back Counter Salesperson to join our Houston, TX team. You will assist customers, price parts, and help maintain an organized parts department while delivering excellent service.

Two+ years in an auto parts environment and sales experience are preferred. A high school diploma and a valid Texas driver license are required. We offer a professional work environment with training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in automotive parts department preferred.
• One+ year of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers courteously and professionally.
• Ensure inventory is stocked in the correct location.
• Maintain parts department clean and organized.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
• Informing customers of current specials.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
