Job summary

Young Automotive Group in Utah is seeking a Parts Associate / Counter Person to help customers and technicians find and order the right parts and accessories. You will ensure accurate invoicing and maintain efficient inventory control in a fast-paced dealership setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional appearance, with benefits including on-site medical options and employee discounts across Young Automotive Group products.

Qualifications

• Stable work history with demonstrated success.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Recommended parts experience preferred.
• Experience with Tekion (ADP) is also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly professional and efficient manner.
• Locates or orders parts as needed.
• Prepares invoices for parts to be handed over the counter.
• Answers retail phone calls and assists customers over the phone.
• Follow up with customers over the phone on special order parts.
• Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts.
• Maintains professional appearance.
