Gordy’s Lakefront Marine in Fontana, WI is seeking a Parts Associate to support the Parts Department by processing, organizing, and delivering parts to customers and service teams.

The Parts Associate will be responsible for supporting the Parts Department by accurately processing, organizing, and delivering parts to both customers and service teams. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, process-driven, and works effectively in a fast-paced environment while assisting team members and customers with professionalism and efficiency.Essential Job Duties:· Manage all parts quotes· Receive shipments of parts or incoming parts· Call and follow-up with customers about special orders· Pull parts for retail customers and work orders· Document all parts properly on the work orders for billing· Communicate delays and progress with internal and external customers· Provide options for special handling· Use current accessory catalogs and websites as needed to find and quote parts· Access performance bulletins regularly· Retrieve and document all warranty parts· Maintain neat and clean parts storage· Ability to implement effective and efficient work procedures.· Knowledge of open work orders needing parts· Explore ways to better serve customers, resolve customer complaints, concerns and suggestions related to parts.· Handle customers’ walk in orders· Ensure that the highest levels of customer care are demonstrated· Ensure that the customer experience with Gordy’s Service is of the highest quality· Work with Gordy’s Service Advisors to accurately order parts in a timely manner· Work with Shop Foreman and other parts associate to keep enough “needed” parts in stock at all timesQualifications:· Proven experience in a parts, inventory, or retail environment preferred· Strong knowledge of marine products, parts, and accessories preferred· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and inventory management skills· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems· Team-oriented with a positive attitude· Ability to lift and move parts as needed· Passion for the marine industry and boatingPhysical Requirements:· Sitting for long periods· Standing/Moving occasionally, mainly during inventory· Able to lift up to 50 poundsWork Schedule Requirements:· Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm· Off season, opportunity to work Monday – Thursday 7 am to 5 pm· Full-time schedule with potential overtime during peak seasons.Founded by Gordon “Gordy” Whowell and family in 1955, Gordy’s Lakefront Marine has a rich history of providing fun in the sun on Geneva Lake.
