Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Parts Assistant in Morris, IL. You will support shop mechanics by supplying service parts, handle customer requests, and assist multiple branches in locating parts. The role requires organization, reliability, and strong communication skills to ensure fast, accurate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of equipment and parts used in construction is useful.
• Parts department experience desirable.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations and ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Supply shop mechanics with service and repair parts from inventory.
• Handle walk-in and telephone requests for parts.
• Assist other branches in finding parts via Case and Smart Equip.
• Maintain parts displays and showroom; keep parts area clean and organized.
• Process purchase orders to order parts for group and customers.
• Perform duties as assigned by manager and work in a fast-paced environment.

Sunbelt Rentals - the fastest growing rental business in North America - is seeking a Parts Assistant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supplies shop mechanics with needed service and repair parts from inventory.
• Handles walk in and telephone customer requests for parts
• Assists other SBR branches in finding needed parts via the Case and Smart Equip program.
• Stocks parts and keeps department in good order so that parts are easily found and safety standards observed.
• Completes and processes purchase orders to order parts for the group and/or customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Will be required to bend, pull, and climb as well as lifting of 50 lbs.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
