Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena in Helena, MT is hiring a Parts Advisor to support the Service team with parts coordination and customer service. This role offers a commission-based earnings plan, with estimated annual pay in the $48k–$60k range, plus comprehensive benefits.

Standard schedule Mon–Fri, potential Saturdays, and opportunities for growth within Lithia & Driveway. Ideal candidates have automotive dealership exposure, a valid driver's license, and a demonstrated ability to manage parts

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the automotive field or in a dealership environment.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer request
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns
