Job Overview:

A Forklift Parts Advisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the inventory and distribution of forklift parts within a company or to customers. This role involves maintaining accurate records of parts, ensuring availability, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all OTR parts inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of parts is available.
• Assist technicians in identifying forklift parts and ordering parts.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation for parts orders.
• Utilize inventory management software to track parts and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in automotive or machinery parts is a plus.
• 2+ years experience in a parts advisory, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
• Strong knowledge of OTR parts and components.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
