Qualifications

• Experience as a parts advisor in an automotive setting.
• Knowledge of basic automotive components and parts.
• Experience working with a service department is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers professionally.
• Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in-person or email.
• Assist customers with questions, stock checks and parts orders.
• Maintain clean, organized counter, work area and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts with the service team for vehicle repairs.
• Order parts from suppliers per service/customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts in proper storage areas.
• Verify quantities and costs against invoices and purchase orders.
