About the Role

DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring for a Parts Advisor.

As the Parts Advisor, you will sell parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, on the phone, and online. Responsibilities

1. Assist walk-in customers in selecting parts, suggest related products, and promote our full product line.
2. Pull purchased parts from stock.
3. If out of stock, determine availability and submit emergency orders.
4. Answer phone inquiries, provide price quotes, and assist outside sales reps.
5. Arrange orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup.
6. Verify and manage WILL CALL and BACKORDER files weekly.
7. Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
8. Help Service Technicians select needed parts.
9. Notify the service desk and customers upon receipt of parts.
10. Ensure parts are charged out only after technician approval.
11. Display seasonal parts and accessories attractively.
12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
13. Provide friendly, professional service to customers and colleagues.
14. Issue credit slips for returned parts, ensuring proper documentation.
15. Keep counters and storage areas tidy and labeled.
16. Report any department issues to the Parts Manager.
17. Stay updated on new products and participate in training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Knowledge of automotive OEM parts.
4. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred.
5. Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
6. Availability to work on Saturdays.
7. Minimum age of 18 years.
8. Valid driver’s license.
9. Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
