Job summary

Brown’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team. You’ll assist customers in selecting required parts, process shop orders, and coordinate with service and body shop colleagues to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive parts, valid driver's license, and ability to work full-time including Saturdays. CDK experience and familiarity with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work full-time, including Saturday.
• CDK experience is a plus.
• Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
• Notifies the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
• Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
• Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
• Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
