Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Advisor to support daily operations of the Parts Department. You will monitor inventory, process parts orders, assist technicians, and manage vendor relationships to keep service operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2–3 years in parts distribution, strong organization, and excellent customer service. A fast-paced team environment with day-one benefits awaits you.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a parts distribution environment.

Aufgaben

• Manage and direct activities of Parts Department supporting Technicians and customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parts vendors.
• Maintain accurate minimum and maximum stocking levels for all parts; ensure shop supplies are adequate.
• Keep parts room and warehouse clean and organized at all times.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly Parts Department reporting.
• Handle warranty parts retention and shipping; print warranty parts report in CCS.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and cores reports; review QAS meetings materials.
• Process invoices daily as needed; update daily OTC sales sheet and QAS data.
• Review open purchase orders weekly and print credit card reports.
• Deliver parts to work stations as directed by Shop Supervisor.
• Direct and participate in all QAS meetings.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Advisor to support the daily functions of the Parts Department. In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring inventory, processing parts orders, supporting technicians, and maintaining vendor relationships. You'll help ensure parts are available and organized to keep service operations running efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Manage, control and direct the activities of Parts Department supporting Technicians and retail customers
• Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedures
• Develop, monitor and maintain relationships with parts vendors
• Ensure all parts stocked have accurate minimum and maximum stocking levels established
• Ensure all shop supplies are up to date with proper quantities for general repair and heavy repair areas
• Ensure the parts room and parts warehouse areas are clean and organized at all times
• Complete all required daily, weekly and monthly Parts Department activity reporting
• Warranty parts retention and shipping
• Print warranty parts report in CCS
• Cycle counts weekly and 7's report for cores weekly
• Check next day orders for QAS meetings
• Check shop turn over report and participate in daily shop turn over meeting with Service Team
• Process invoices for payment daily as needed
• Update daily sales OTC sheet ( update QAS )
• Review all open purchase orders weekly print credit card report
• Parts need to be delivered to work stations as directed by the Shop Supervisor
• Direct and participate in all QAS meetings.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in a parts distribution environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
