Job summary

Paycom in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Parts Associate to deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers while ensuring accuracy in procurement and fulfillment of parts orders.

You will receive orders via phone, text, counter, and email; research and create orders using inventory and partnerships; assist in stock control; ship and receive with high accuracy; keep the warehouse neat, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous parts experience in a retail or warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Parts Associate is responsible for demonstrating superior customer service to our internal and external customers by providing professional assistance in person and via phone and ensuring accuracy in the procurement and fulfillment of all parts orders.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process orders through all available tools and resources (phone, text, counter, and email).
• Research and create orders using internal inventory and external partnerships, as needed.
• Assist in managing and controlling parts inventory.
• Ship and receive incoming and outgoing orders with a minimum of 99% accuracy.
• Replenish company Vans, review requests and fill orders as required.
• Build hose assemblies using in house tools.

• Highly desired industry experience in front- or back-counter support (working with technicians or over-the-counter customers).
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Inventory control knowledge.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent Customer Service skills required.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to repetitively stoop, bend, push, pull, squat, climb, and kneel regularly.
• Must be able to operate a computer and other parts department-related equipment.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds unaided repetitively (must ask for assistance if lifting over 50 pounds)
• Must be physically able to operate/drive a company vehicle, if necessary.
• Must be physically able to speak and interact with other company associates.
• Must be physically and mentally able to read, write, and follow directions.
